“ Mary Conway, a warm, and generous hostess, welcomes you with tea or coffee in her peaceful, spacious home. Her living room and two of the guest rooms look out over farmlands to the majestic Benbulben Mountains, soft, folded, and moss-green. The famous Drumcliffe Church spire can be seen across the road, and over a large sweep of land to the left, you can view the beautiful Drumcliffe Bay. Mary will spend time with you, mapping out routes for touring the area, full of history, where Yeats lived and was buried. The rooms, all on the first floor, are attractive with TV and tea- and coffee-making facilities. At night, you may eat in the Yeats Tavern and watch TV. Breakfast is the typical Irish with added fruited yogurt, fresh fruit, and tantalising hot, crunchy scones. Rosses Point beach, golf, country walks, Lough Gill boat trips, surfing, and theatre are nearby.”
